We know many of you rely on downloads and scheduled reports to share Insights dashboards with your teams—whether that’s a quick PNG snapshot or a detailed PDF for leadership. With this release, we’re giving you

🧰 What's New?
You now have
expanded formatting options
when downloading or scheduling dashboards as PNG or PDF files:
✅ For Both PNG & PDF:
  • Expand All Tables:
You can now choose to automatically expand tables to display up to 1,000 rows—without needing to scroll. No more hidden data in your exports!
Just keep in mind that 1,000 rows can make for a pretty lengthy file.
  • Single Column Layout:
Want to simplify your layout? You can now stack dashboard tiles vertically in a single column, rather than keeping the in-app grid layout. This makes for a more digestible report when sharing externally.
🗒️ Additional Flexibility for PDFs:
  • Custom Page Sizes:
Choose from Legal, Letter, Tabloid, A3, or A4 page sizes to better suit your layout needs.
  • Orientation Options:
Toggle between Portrait or Landscape for each page size to better fit wide tables or long dashboards.
  • ‘Fit Page to Dashboard’ Mode:
This remains the default and preserves your dashboard's layout, but note that it doesn’t support the expanded table or single-column options. To use those, just switch to one of the custom page sizes above.
💡 A Quick Heads-Up:
  • PDF files with large tables (1,000 rows) can get quite long—sometimes up to 28 pages. For readability, consider breaking up especially large tables.
  • Extra-wide tables (e.g., 25+ columns) may not always fit on a standard page, even if you chose Tabloid in landscape mode, so we recommend reviewing layout choices based on your content.
In paginated deliveries, a few formatting differences apply:
  • Filters and dashboard controls aren’t included in the document
  • Tile titles may be shortened to fit better on the page
  • Font sizes and text wrapping in table cells will follow standard PDF styling for consistency
🎯 Why This Matters
  • Gives you more control over how dashboards are structured outside the app—whether for internal review or external distribution
  • Supports clearer formatting for stakeholders who prefer print-friendly or simplified layouts
  • Makes it easier to share full tables without needing to crop them
We hope these changes make it even easier to get the right data in front of the right people—exactly how you want it.
