: Nested Folders! This update makes it easier than ever to organize your dashboards, workbooks, and other documents so everyone can quickly find the right information.Whatâs New
Nested Folders let you create a clear, organized hierarchy within your organizationâs group folder. Now, you can nest folders up to seven levels deepâplenty of flexibility to structure your content exactly the way you need, whether thatâs by region, department, team, or any custom grouping that fits your workflow.
How It Benefits You đ
- Better Organization:Break down your content into detailed folders (like Region âĄď¸ Hotel âĄď¸ Team) so that each user sees only whatâs relevant to them.
- Enhanced Security:With additive permissions, each subfolder inherits access from its parent folder. This means you control who sees what at every levelâkeeping your data safe and organized.
- Streamlined Access Management:Admins and Managers can easily adjust permissions at every level, ensuring the right people have the right access with minimal hassle.
How It Works
- Default Setup:Every organization has a group folder in the Hub. By default, all users are set as Viewers while Admins have Manager access. Admins can adjust these settings if a more restrictive base is preferred.
- Nested Folders:Organize your content by creating subfolders inside your group folder. Whether youâre organizing by region, hotel, department, or another method, you can nest folders up to seven levels deepâgiving you plenty of room to build a detailed structure. đđ
- Inherited Permissions:Permissions set on a parent folder automatically cascade to its subfolders and documents. You can also grant more permissive roles at lower levels so that only the designated teams have access to the right content.
